December Member Update

Hey ADKYP, season’s greetings! Here we are, maybe some snow crunching under our boots, and getting ready for our long winter’s rest, but there’s always so much at this busy time of the year! We’ve all been there–focused on getting our holiday shopping done, decorating, finishing out the final quarter of the business year, submitting grades, and making sure December keeps some of its magic for all. It can be a time abundant with joy, but also abundant with stress! This month’s newsletter is here to update you on membership, a current member, what’s going on in the area, and other ADKYP events, if you want to swing by to recharge and connect with your community. Bundle up, and many happy returns of the season!

Nathaniel “Nate” Horn

Nate’s a shop teacher by day at Beekmantown High School, teaching the youth how to use both fire and lasers, but by nights and weekends, he’s the crafter and CEO-in-charge at Broken Horn Relics. He’d heard about the group through social media, and tried out two different events before joining–he first went to a gathering at IceBurgh Creamery, then tried out fully networking with members at a pop-up at Hobie’s! Check out Nate’s woodworking at many of the local holiday craft fairs this season through Broken Horn Relics.
